Need Help Getting Around This Blog?
If you are new to the blogosphere, here’s a few things that might be helpful to know:
- At the top of this website, you will find a navigation bar that will take you to the HOME page (where this blog, AllThingsPrivatePractice, is located) as well as to other pages on this site for additional information about Private Practice from the Inside Out.
- Blogs are really about building conversations so at the bottom of each post you will see a “talk bubble” that allows you to LEAVE A COMMENT. If you see a post that you can relate to or a topic of interest, I hope you will take a moment to share your thoughts / comments. I’m eager to begin our conversation!
- I’m hoping as content on our site grows (through my posts and your comments) you will choose to drop in and visit often. The easiest way to do that is to actually subscribe to AllThingsPrivatePractice. Virtually all blogs can be subscribed to by a feed reader (look in the left hand column for the tiny orange box that says “Subscribe by a reader”) or by email (“Get Updates by Email”).
- You can also see links to my most RECENT POSTS in the left hand column.
- There are 4 different ways for you to search through posts to find the information you are looking for.
1. ARCHIVES groups all posts together by the month in which they were published.
2. If you want to search for a specific word in AllThingsPrivatePractice, you can use the SEARCH box in the left hand column.
3. TOPICS allows you to search by theme for all posts included in that category
4. TAGS also allows you to search for specific words that are used in posts. Note that the actual post may or may not be about that particular word. It could simply reference that word in a post.
- In the left hand column, you will also find links to other websites, resources, items of interest, and blogs that can assist you in developing your private practice.
- And, because this blog is about building conversations and building community, as you think of other topics related to practice development that you would like to see included in my posts, the best way to communicate that is by sending me an email or commenting directly on a post. Your suggestions are always welcome!
